Learning Offering

A blended learning approach is taken in the learning journey. This includes online learning, direct contact days in the form of workshops and practical assignments that are linked to application back in the workplace. This enables individual and organisational growth.

Training Partners compiles and customises learning and development in three competency areas:

Training, facilitation and communication skills

Personal mastery

Employee engagement, talent management, people management, human resource business partner, transitioning to the role of first line supervisor, balancing competing demands as middle managers, coaching for results.

All the courses are designed according to adult learning principles (androgogy) and are outcomes based.  Facilitators use all aspects of the learning cycle: thinking, reasoning, practice and reflection, in their courses.  All the courses are geared towards outcomes in which skill is built from a strong foundation of knowledge and values.

Learning Methods

Action learning is the philosophy that underpins all programmes. It is a learning experience that is able to meet two objectives. It supports the development of participants while at the same time helps solve real business problems. The Action Learning process benefits the individual and the business and has the additional benefit of building strong communities of learning as groups of people tackle a real life business challenge.

Action learning not only helps businesses solve complex problems by harnessing the wisdom of a community of leaders, but it also provides leaders with an opportunity to gain a deeper level of learning. Through the in-built reflection and review element of action learning, leaders are encouraged to generate new opportunities to improve performance.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
